Reports To: Administrator/Program Coordinator
Position Purpose: Provide academic enrichment to improve student learning in a daycare setting
Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age
• Must be reliable and punctual and able to commit to 2-10 hours per week, not to exceed a 40 hour work week (e.g., hours are added to current hours and can not exceed 40 total hours per week)
• Must be available to work an extra hour on school days in which school begin later in the morning
• Knowledgeable about CCSS, technology, remediation/enrichment activities, and children and be willing to meet the individual academic needs of children through differentiated approaches
• Know and understand District policies and procedures
• Speaking and understanding Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide individual/small group instruction under the direction of a lead teacher
Review instructional materials and processes prior to conducting student lessons
Provide data as requested to after-school coordinator

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to interact with staff and to meet demands from several people. The employee is responsible for the work output of others.
